8 Nights Authentic Safari with Classic Zambia

The Authentic Zambia Itinerary – 8 nights for the price of 6!

Upon arrival at Lusaka International Airport you will be met by our representative and assisted with your baggage after the immigration and customs procedures. You will then be introduced to your driver who will transfer you to Musekese Camp. This transfer will take 5 hours. 

Day 1 – 5 
Musekese Camp

Musekese Camp is set close to the Kafue River in the central part of the Northern sector of the Park. Greeted by the owners, Tyrone McKeith and Phil Jeffery, you’ll be treated to an experience you’ll never forget, while gaining new bush knowledge you can’t help but feel the infectious passion that your hosts have for the Kafue National Park.  

Musekese Camp epitomizes what traditional Zambian safaris are all about.  Activities are split between walking, boating and driving, there is also a hide on the opposite bank of the river overlooking a flooded dambo area which provides wonderful opportunities for those guests keen on photography. 

Day 5 – 9 
Tusk & Mane

On the 5th morning of your trip, you’ll be transferred to Lusaka Airport to catch your scheduled flight to the Lower Zambezi, this flight will take just over an hour. On arrival in Lusaka, the same representatives who had met you on day 1 will be waiting to help assist you to your scheduled flight to Jeki.

When you land at Jeki Airstrip, you’ll be met by the friendly drivers for Tusk & Mane who will transfer you to camp. It’s now time to go back to basics and experience a truly traditional Zambian bush safari. 

The camp is tucked away amongst the Winterthorn trees, there are 4 tents which have been designed to make the most of the Lower Zambezi environment – they are simple gauze tents with canvas drop down sides. There is an en-suite bathroom with bucket showers and flushing loos. The guiding here is some of the best, so sit back, relax and enjoy your stay – you’re in good hands!

After an incredible time down in the Lower Zambezi Valley, it’s now time to say goodbye. The drive from Tusk & Mane to Jeki will take about 20 minutes, leaving just in time to catch your domestic flight departing back to Lusaka. Once you’ve landed back in Lusaka, the same representatives will meet and assist you with your luggage and help you with your international immigration procedures.
